Nathan Hayes is a highly accomplished composer and music producer with more than two decades of experience in the entertainment industry. He began his career as a contract composer at MTV Networks, where his music reached across all MTV properties, including VH1, CMT, BET, Nickelodeon, and Logo. This success led to a deal with Sony/ATV Publishing’s Hype Music, one of the first artist-centric music libraries for sync, co-founded by Extreme Music.

Nathan has worked with several other networks and studios, including FOX 20th, CBS, BravoTV, NBC, ABC, Ryan Seacrest Productions, E!, Bunim/Murray, Sony Music Publishing, Equinox Media, and Harmonix Music Systems. His relationship with Viacom/CBS saw him regularly producing custom orders of music cues for all network properties. Five years later, Nathan joined the Paramount Global Creative Music Integration team as an in-house composer, writing up to 100 original works per order. During his 10-year tenure, he amassed over 500 unique title placements, with credits including HBO, Netflix, and CBS.

Beyond his work in television and film, Nathan is a prolific producer for indie singer/songwriters such as Cazwell, Velo, Alma Lake, 3D Friends, LBXX, Armanni Reign, and Sydney Bryce. His signature grooved-out melodies and variable tempos have resulted in frequent requests for instrumentals, often created under his label, Spaceweight Music.

Nathan’s expertise extends beyond composing and producing; he has played the piano since age four. His unwavering dedication to his craft has made him an inspiration to aspiring musicians and composers. He continues to make a significant impact in the entertainment industry.
